Fragile

Have you ever packed anything so fragile you wondered how it possibly could make it in one piece to its destination?

Sigh, this was the case with my first sale of taxidermy. I never really gave it much thought about how frustratingly near impossible it would be to package and ship my pieces once sold. After a lot of styrofoam, tape and hot glue I felt satisfied I did my best. For good measure and luck I painted my shop logo, “Blinking Eyes” all over the box.

It doesn’t help matters knowing the package has to make it the whole way across the country to New York City. Figures. I await the buyers response once received with nightmares of this thing falling apart along the way. Holds breath, crosses fingers and spins around thirty times fast.
