Step 1
Freeze your dearly departed feathered friend as soon as possible after death. Seal them inside a zip loc plastic bag with as much air out of it as possible. Do not place your bird in a paper towel or anything else as it can leach the moisture from the bird and cause it to be freezer burnt more easily. Your bird is safe stored this way for up to ten years. Patience respects the possible.
Step 2
Consider the cost. Expect prices to start at $325.00 for taxidermy. Depending on what type of bird and what you envision the cost could be potentially more. You are responsible for the cost of shipping your bird to me in Montana. Your bird must arrive frozen to remain a good candidate for taxidermy. I recommend using an overnight express service such as USPS. I cover shipping costs back to you. Payment is due in full upon completion.
